Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using yitsight (“the service”, available at yitsight.com) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Beta status

yitsight is currently in private beta. The service is provided on an as-is basis, access is invite-only, features may change or break without notice, and data may occasionally be reset. Don't rely on it as your sole study tool yet.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use yitsight. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian's permission.

4. Account and access

• Access is by invitation. You may not share your account or invite code with others.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend or revoke access at any time, for any reason, especially during beta.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything illegal or abusive
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or resell AI responses at scale
• Upload content you don't have the right to use
• Try to bypass usage limits, authentication, or security measures
• Use the service to generate content that harms others, including academic dishonesty where prohibited by your school
• Deliberately overwhelm the service with automated requests

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the PDFs, notes, and other content you upload or create. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you.

You are responsible for backing up anything you consider important. During beta we may occasionally reset databases.

7. AI-generated content

yitsight uses large language models (OpenAI's GPT family). AI responses can be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for verifying anything important before relying on it. Don't use yitsight as your only source for an exam, assignment, or medical/legal/financial decision.

8. Third-party integrations

If you connect a Google account, your use of that account is also governed by Google's Terms of Service. We only access the scopes you approve, and only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Fees

During beta, yitsight is free to use within the fair-use limits displayed on your dashboard. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if so, we'll notify you before charging.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. You may request deletion of your account by emailing yitlicious@gmail.com. We may terminate or suspend access at any time, especially for violations of these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including (but not limited to) merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, yitsight and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Total liability (if any) will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which during beta is zero).

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
